Strong Educational Background
Dr. Herbert started his healthcare journey at Brigham Young University. He studied microbiology and graduated with honors. As a Hinckley Scholar, he was recognized for his academic success and leadership. He attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2013.
Dr. Herbert’s journey to becoming a dentist was not a typical one. He didn’t start practicing immediately after dental school like many others. Instead, he took an additional step, completing a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. This extra training allowed him to master advanced treatments and gain hands-on experience with complex cases that most general dentists don’t encounter early in their careers. His extensive training should instill confidence in his expertise and the quality of care he provides.
