Prescott Dental Arts – Dental Implants
Prescott Dental Arts provides excellent Dental Implants for the Prescott Valley region.
Dental Implants for our Prescott AZ patients are the best thing that’s happened in dentistry. They reunite our patients with something they’ve lost and are truly the most functional option when it comes to tooth replacement. Many patients are missing part or all of their teeth and feel stuck having to wear dentures or cause damage to their healthy teeth for porcelain bridgework.
The process involves placing a titanium post into the bone that once supported healthy tooth roots. The procedure takes about one hour and is much less traumatic than having a tooth extracted. Also, recovery from the implant procedure is typically easier than recovering from an extraction.
The most predictable scenario is to place an implant in healed, healthy bone. Patients must wait a minimum of three months after an extraction with bone graft (4-5 months without) before proceeding with implant treatment. After placement, the body takes about four months to adequately stabilize the implant before proceeding with a crown, bridge, or denture anchorage. In certain circumstances, an implant may be predictably placed at the time of tooth extraction, with or without bone grafting.
There are several options to consider. Learn more about how Prescott Dental Arts can improve your life with dental implant treatments by selecting from the procedures above. Also, learn about the process by watching the video below:
